Simple rules for renting a car with The Cars. Easy to read and easy to follow.
Rental Policies
Minimum rental age is 21 years with a valid driving license (CNIC for with-driver bookings).
Cars are given with a full fuel tank and must be returned with a full tank, otherwise fuel charges apply.
Self-drive cars must be driven only by the registered driver. Giving the car to anyone else is not allowed.
Smoking inside the car is strictly not allowed. A cleaning charge will be added if this rule is broken.
Cars are for use inside Pakistan only. Taking the car outside the country is not permitted.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required at the time of booking. Amount depends on the car model.
For sedans the deposit is Rs 10,000. For SUVs it is Rs 20,000. For vans and buses it is Rs 30,000.
The deposit is fully refunded within 7 days after the car is returned in good condition.
If the car is returned with damage, the repair cost will be taken from the deposit.
Traffic fines, parking fines and toll charges during the rental period are paid by the customer.
Booking & Payment
Booking is confirmed only after the advance payment and security deposit are received.
Advance payment is 20% of the total rental amount and is non-refundable.
Remaining amount is paid at the time of car delivery in cash or via bank transfer.
Prices shown are per day. Local rates apply within Islamabad and Rawalpindi only.
Out-station rates apply for trips outside the city and include driver charges.
Cancellation Rules
Free cancellation is allowed up to 48 hours before the pickup time.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup will lose the advance payment.
If the car has already been delivered, no refund will be given for the rental amount.
In case of emergency, contact us as early as possible and we will try to help.
The Cars reserves the right to cancel any booking with a full refund if the car is not available.
Usage & Time Limits
Local rentals include 12 hours per day. Extra hours are charged at Rs 500 per hour.
Out-station rentals include 10 to 12 hours per day depending on the car.
The car must be returned on the agreed date and time. Late return will add extra day charges.
Kilometer limit is 150 km per day for local and 300 km per day for out-station. Extra km is Rs 15 per km.
Driver Rules (With Driver Bookings)
All our drivers are experienced, licensed and verified for your safety.
Driver food and resting charges are not included for out-station trips (Rs 1,000 per day extra).
The driver will follow your route plan but driving after 11 PM is not allowed for safety.
Please treat the driver with respect. Bad behavior may result in trip cancellation without refund.
